Shipping and Handling

We can ship by UPS, DHL, Fed Ex and EMS. We have very competitive rates with UPS and DHL but not Fed Ex so if you choose this last method, expect to pay more for shipping.
We recommend UPS, as they have been very reliable over the last few years especially in Europe and in the USA. Canadian and Australian customers tend to choose DHL.
It's difficult to estimate shipping rates as it really depends on what is being ordered.
As a rule of thumb, if you order displays and other bulky items, shipping cost will go up, as you will be charged by volume instead of by weight (volumetric weight).
In clear terms, what DHL and UPS are saying is that for each size of box we use, they have a different minimum weight. If you send 1 kg of merchandise using their biggest box, you'll be charge for the minimum weight of that box (+/- 15 Kgs).
For small parcels with 1 to 2 Kgs of jewelry, the shipping cost should be around $40.00.

Tracking Your Parcel

When we send you an invoice by e-mail or by fax, the tracking number for your parcel will be at the bottom of the invoice just before the total.

Handling

We take great care in packing your orders. We use foam boxes and bubble wrap for all large displays. The jewelry is packed by style, categories and by order numbers. For fragile items, we sometimes use metal boxes that we insert in the UPS or DHL cardboard boxes.

Insurance

Accidents do happen and parcels do get lost on rare occasions. We can only be responsible of the handling of your parcels until they leave our premises. We strongly suggest you ask for insurance against loss, breakage and theft. The cost of insurance is 1% of invoice value or a minimum of $20.00 whichever is higher. Remember, you are only insured for the invoice value so low value invoices will only be insured for the declared value.

Shipping Invoice

The invoice we send with your parcel is what will be used by the customs in your country to calculate import taxes and VAT (Value added tax) that you will have to pay.
