At Salamander Jewelry Co., Ltd. we regularly organize activities for children, backed by the power of a team of our volunteers.
On this day we held a fun day of children's activities to mark 2018 , using core Salamander slogans to motivate the participants such as "Think wisely, be aware and use technology creatively." Volunteer teams ensured that both children and adults had a fun and educational day - managing activities such as throwing loops, quizzes, quick-fire maths games, basket ball games, balloons and musical chairs.
In order to give a royal charity, His Majesty the King Bhumibol Adulyadej and a sense of divine grace. Show loyalty to the country, religion, the king. The company projects Tagetes erecta-planting for our king, with employees interested in making this project a lot. Principle and Reason:
We continue to promote CSR policies in 2017 in order to bring knowledge back to the community – this time at Baan Plernpattana school so that students can apply it to future careers. The company has sent experts from various areas of the company's staff to join in and support with activities such as mushroom cultivation, chicken farming and making and using fertilizer. The kids can then bring their produce and crops (such as water spinach, coriander, Chinese broccoli etc.) to eat and sell. The children pay attention to learning irrigation with mushrooms. These activities are supported by the King Rama 9 sustainability fund.
Held from February 1 – June 30, 2017
Purpose:
1. To encourage the community to earn income for the children and teachers.
2. To provide knowledge to make mushroom farms.
3. To provide the knowledge to create biological fertilizer.
4. How to grow vegetables organically.
5. Awareness of raising poultry and egg production.
6. To help employees, children and communities to build better relationships together.
Expected results:
1. Children, community and teachers gain knowledge on mushroom cultivation, vegetable farming, chicken farming, and making fertilizer.
2. Children, community, and teachers can earn more.
3. Students, teachers and the community increase career options after leaving school. The knowledge gained can be applied professionally.
4. Money is saved by growing own vegetables for consumption.
Principle and Reason:
Salamander is proud of our contributions to help those who are sick and needy. We donated 2,000 bottles of saline solution to the health services at Kratumlom, prioritizing bed-ridden patients, with the rest given to hospitals in other areas of Nakhon Pathom. Held on July 5, 2017.
Purpose:
1. To aid by supplying hospitals with supplies.
2. To put company supplies to good use for those in need.
3. To provide employees a worthwhile pilgrimage to help patients who are bed-ridden.
The Expected Result:
1. Health Promoting Hospitals have adequate supplies of saline solution.
2. Donations save money for patients in need to use at home.
3. Increased relations with the community and public.
Principle and Reason:
Sports against Drugs: the Kratumlom Cup 2017, is an annual activity in which the company engages with local government and schools. We participated in the final day, partnered with Kratumlom municipality, lead by Mr Wasan (President). The match was between composers and music teachers from Sal-ha. Our GM, Mr. Ofer Avidan was invited to attend the match, scheduled on June 12 - 25, 2017.
Purpose:
1. Creating a good relationship between the company and the municipality of communities nearby.
2. Promoting sport in the community and encouraging children in the community to use their free time wisely.
3. Encourage employees to exercise and be healthy.
4. Encourage employees and children know harmony and community spirit, either losing or winning.
5. Create fun events for the children and the community.

Principle and Reason:
One of the company’s initiatives is to promote education, inspiring learning and cooperation with various educational bodies. Promoting the health and wellbeing of our staff is always a priority. We invited the Faculty of Medical Sciences to come and share with our departments, both learning our progressive methods and sharing their own, using the company as a case study. The faculty and its students participated in this study visit, led by Dr. Sutthipat Wongvitvichote of the Department of Preventative and Social Health, from Navamindradhiraj University.
Event held on July 21, 2017 at Salamander Jewelry Co., Ltd.
Purpose:
1. To establish good relationships with local universities.
2. To encourage the students to take part in valuable educational activities by way of case studies in occupational medicine.

Salamander encourages helping the needy at all times, and keeping with the Buddhist way of donating from the heart. Donations come both from employees and company organized activities, organizing annual events such as ticket sales and donation days, in order that staff can also get involved and bring in gifts and making merit.

The program provides a monthly birthday celebration, in order to strengthen morale and encourage employees to relax from work during lunch time, and build solidarity in groups. The event is held on the same day each month, employees participate by jointly sing happy birthday to a friend who was born that month. The company has offered a special menu for the entire monthly happily.

Employee health and wellbeing is integral to the company’s health, and contributes to increase performance with gifts and bonuses, however the company is also highly attentive to the health of employees. Principle and Reason:
According to the Ministry of Health policies to accelerate and sustain high immunization cover and reduce preventable disease, the Sub-District Hospital at Kratumlom has established a service unit. This project’s purpose is to encourage DT vaccination cover and awareness of symptoms, so that immunity is increased and less incidences occur. Salamander Jewelry Co., Ltd. is located Kratumlom Sub-District, therefore collaborates with the Sub-District Hospital Kratumlom in order to vaccinate employees, both Thai and foreigners, combining DT and tetanus on one vaccine.
Purpose:
1.To enable both Thai and foreign employees to receive vaccines including tetanus and diphtheria protection.

Students and parents who are interested in obtaining knowledge can make extra money, and the method can also be used in households.

Principle and Reason:
Songkran is traditionally celebrated at New Year in Thailand. Our national culture is passed from generation to generation. Foreigners can join in and recognize the traditions of Thailand too. This is generally held during the 13th-15th April every year, with all management and employees globally recognising the holiday. Is of paramount importance to maintain the culture of Thailand for the future by encouraging all employees to participate in activities. Therefore on April 8, 2016 we have a water festival Songkran day at the company. Water symbolises cleaning the spirit.
Purpose:
1. To make all employees aware of the importance of Thailand’s enduring traditions.
2. To provide all employees the ability to demonstrate the traditions and culture of Thailand and to show respect to elders, and make amends for any wrong choices made.
3. To maintain awareness of Thailand and its rich traditions.
4. To create relationships in the company, all employees participate and interact together for Thailand’s new year greeting.
5. To make all employees aware of the importance of a new Songkran. And that all employees have the opportunity to return home after working for the preceding long period. Employees have time to be with their families, with water representing their of love for the family.
Principle and Reason:
With the company’s initiative “How to create happiness in work for employees,” relieving stress and encouraging a Happy Workplace is a priority. The company recognizes the importance of helping employees to create joy and relief from stress, so arranged to have a talent contest - Salamander's Got Talent.
Purpose:
1.To promote individual potential and the opportunity for employees to demonstrate their skills.
2.To provide employees at all levels will relaxation from work during the break. 3.To encourage all to cheer with encouragement of friends who compete, and build a sense of unity.
Salamander Jewelry Co., Ltd. has a strong team of volunteers. On this day we established relationships and brought joy to the senior citizens in Kratumlom province, with a range of activities to show our respect. Activities include relaxing massages and games selected by the company elderly citizens, such as fun traditional games and quizzes.
o commemorate the auspicious occasions in which His Majesty celebrated 70 years of being regent on June 9, 2016, and Her Majesty the Queen 7th 84th Birthday, on August 12, 2016. Governments, private sector organizations, and the public foundations for many villages feel joy, appreciation and grace for all. The two elements of the population of Thailand: agriculture, irrigation, aim to relieve suffering of the dissolution of the civil authority Rat. especially Conservation of water resources and forests.
Salamander Jewelry Co., Ltd. and the municipality Kratumlom held a project: “Love Water, Love Forest, Love Earth” wearing blue shirts, planting seedlings together and performing a community cleaning service in Nakhon Chernchum Temple on August 11, 2016 at 09:00 am. - 11:00 am.
